Julie A. Spatz, age 61, of Xenia, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2012. She was born November 15, 1960. The daughter of Darrell R. and Shirley W. Ferguson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Ferguson of Xenia. Julie is survived by her husband Richard Spatz; children Andrew(Ashley)Spatz, Adam(Kristyn)Spatz, and Alexander Spatz; two grandchildren Paisley and Lylah Spatz. She is also survived by sisters Melonie(Dave)Fisher and Sharon McKee, and several nieces and nephews. She was 1979 graduate of Greenview High School in Jamestown, Ohio. She attended Bethesda School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio, earning a 3 year diploma in nursing and later attending Andrews University, receiving a BSN. She was employed at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio for 30 years as a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse, caring for premature and sick new born infants. It was a job she loved with all her heart. She loved her family very much and had a special place in her heart for all children.
