John William “Bill” Miller, age 83 of Riverside, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois J. Miller, in 1998, his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Miller, three sisters: Wanda Smith, Flo Phillips and Lois Riley, and a brother, Eugene Miller. He is survived by his children: Son Roger W. Miller and wife Mary Jo, and daughter, Debra J. and husband Terry Wilcox, as well as a brother, Joseph Miller, Jr. Four grandchildren also survive him: AJ Popella and wife Val, Justin Popella and wife Ashley, Sara Scott and husband Josh, and Rachel Parmer and husband Andy. Numerous great-grandchildren and other family and friends also survive him. Bill was a 1951 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School and served in the US Army from 1951 to 1955 in Korea. He worked as a plant manager at Hilltop Concrete for many years. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Wednesday, March 15 from 11AM-12:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
