Joe P. Bolton, age 89, of Kettering, Ohio passed away at home on July 24, 2024. He was born on February 28, 1935 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Otho Joe and Dessie (Hurst) Bolton. He is also preceded in death by his Wife Patsy Jane Bolton and Sister; Mildred (Bolton) Chasteen.
Joe is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends; Dan and Arvina Hicks, Charlotte Hansen, and Harold Frederick.
Joe’s career began as a stock clerk in a grocery store at the age of 17. Joe continued to work and eventually became a district manager of a regional super market chain until retirement. Joe was a proud U. S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War. After his time in the service Joe earned a pilot’s license and had a love for flying. Alongside his love for flying Joe loved corvettes. He will truly be missed by all those who knew, and loved, him.
An entombment will be private. Joe will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife of 68 years at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens
