PARKER, Jerry Wayne, age 67 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Parker; son, Jerry Wayne Parker, Jr.; and dear friend, Charlene Parker. Jerry is survived by his mother, Marie Parker of Dayton; wife, Dee Parker of Dayton; son, Jerren (girlfriend Jessi) Parker of Dayton; daughters Eppie Parker (fiancé Dennis Riley) of Englewood and Tammy (Ron) Steck of Beavercreek; sisters, Barbara Norman and Carolyn Mobley, both of Dayton; brothers, James (Peggy) Parker, Doc (Pat) Parker and Tommy (Freda) Parker, all of Dayton; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Jerry was a Viet Nam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post #657. He was the previous owner of White Sail Inn and retired from G.M. after 25 years. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 25, 2012 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall. Pastor Roy Maxwell officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
