Jean Haverstock

HAVERSTOCK, E. JEAN, age 87, of Centerville, went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2012.She was born in New Breman, OH October 27, 1924 to the late Emma Christine Stein & Walter R. Fennig. She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Michael A. DeDario and her husband of 18 years Alan E. Haverstock. She was retired from the City of Kettering. She is survived by a son James DeDario and his wife Judy of Centerville, OH; two Grandsons; Jonathan DeDario and his wife Karen of Grand Rapids, MI and their three children, Kyle, Justin, and Lizzy; Jason DeDario and his wife Emily of Kettering, OH, and their four children, Kennedy, Lance, Reese and Brooks. She is also survived by a Brother Ralph Fennig and his wife Eunice of Green Valley, AZ; and a Sister Carol Harning and her husband Henry of Centerville, OH. Special nieces and nephews were Gary Fennig and his wife Becky, Barb Franz and her husband Tom, Pat Harning and his wife Desi, Cherie Thomas and her husband Jon, Jeff Harning and his wife Marsha, Cynthia Mathias and her husband Tim and Dan Harning and his wife Eunsuck and many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Walnut Creek for their excellent care and kindness. Visitation will be August 18, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hope Church, 5980 Wilmington Pike. Service at 3 p.m. Interment at David’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hope Church’s Helping Hands Ministry.
