WHITE, Janice Noreen, age 63 of Springboro, OH passed away February 20, 2022 after a two-year battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 41 years. William C. White Jr. a daughter, Vivian Rose Owen (Stephen); grandchildren Logan Henry Owen (age 8) and Dahlia Grace Owen (age 4) who live in Richmond, VA; her Mother, Susan Lynne Taylor of Wilmington DE; sisters; Tina Teresa (Taylor) Cusick (John) and Elizabeth Michele Taylor and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father, Claude William Taylor; William Jerome Taylor and Virginia Lea McFadden.
Janice Worked for Ascension Healthcare as a Cancer Registrar (2018-2022), Prior to that she taught in the Health Information Management department at Sinclair Community College for 13 years, becoming tenured faculty in her final year. She earned a BS in Health Information Management from Weber State University (2009) and Master’s in Education from the University of Illinois (2012). She maintained multiple professional certifications including Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR). She was also a former president of the Miami Valley Health Information Management Association. Janice had a life-long love of learning and enjoyed attending professional conferences to advance her industry knowledge and strengthen her skill set. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, spoiling them with presents every chance she got. Janice was very creative and enjoyed sewing, crafting, wreath and greeting card making as well as baking with her daughter and grandchildren, especially their annual Christmas cookies. She loved to travel, especially anywhere with a beach. Her favorite spots were Cape May, NJ, Sarasota, FL, Riviera Maya, Mexico, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The family will receive friends, Friday, February 25, 2022 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Dayton, OH 45429 from 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the church of the Incarnation 7415 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH 45459.
