Janice F. Morris, age 82, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 7, 1942, the daughter of the late Carl "Bus" and Beulah (Engle) Hussong. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Carl "Gene" Hussong.
Janice was a beloved wife, mother and grandma who is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul E. Morris, whom she married on September 10, 1960; her daughter and son-in-law, Christina "Tina" and Kevin O'Brien, of Beavercreek and three grandsons, Paul O'Brien and his wife, Katie, of Beavercreek, Joseph O'Brien, of Cincinnati and Christopher O'Brien, of Dayton.
Janice was a graduate of Beavercreek High School in 1960 and was inducted into the Beavercreek High School Alumni Hall of Fame. She and Paul have lived on the family Homestead since 1960 and worked as the bookkeeper for the family business Hussong Sheet Metal founded by her father Carl and later passed down to Paul and Janice.
She served the Ohio Grand Assembly, IORG as Grand Deputy of District 12, Supreme Deputy of Ohio, Supreme Inspector of Ohio and was a member of The House of Gold. During her time as Supreme Inspector, she was asked to serve as Supreme Patriotism for Supreme Assembly of IORG. She was also a member of Beaver Valley and Victory Chapters of the Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services will held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Tobias Funeral Home- Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road beginning at 12:00 p.m. with The Rainbow Funeral Service conducted by the Past Grand Officers of Ohio Grand Assembly of IORG followed by a service conducted by Pastor David Williamson. A Private Family Burial will follow the services at Aley Cemetery in Beavercreek. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday.
