Born on October 1, 1925, in Adams County, Frances lived a long and fulfilling life, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
After earning her associate’s degree from Business College, Frances embarked on a successful career as a realtor in Dayton, Ohio. She later retired as an assistant to the newsroom director at WHIO TV, where her dedication and professionalism left a lasting impact.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Jacob (Jake), as well as numerous brothers and sisters,
Frances is survived by her sons John and Jim, and her two adored grandchildren, John and Justin. She also leaves behind her beloved family dog, MooMoo, who was always by her side.
Frances had a passion for fashion and a green thumb that brought her garden to life. Her love for nature extended to the beaches of Sarasota, Florida, where she enjoyed lounging and walking along the shore.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on January 2, 2025, at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
Frances will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and zest for life will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
