Edward Dennis Becker

Becker, Edward Dennis, 78 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Jennie Becker and brother and sister-in-law Larry and Nancy Becker. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda; children Shellie (Tom) Brown, Jenniffer (Kevin) Youngblood, Stephen Becker, James Becker; grandchildren Sarah and Katie Youngblood, Noelle, Nathan, Caleb and Jared Brown, Jameson Becker. Edward retired as a Technical Sergeant from the United States Air Force where he received numerous service awards, and later worked as a Civil Servant at Wright Patterson AFB for 15 years. He enjoyed being a softball coach and former president of the Beavercreek Youth Softball League. He was a former coach and announcer with the Eager Beaver Football League. Edward also enjoyed weekly league bowling with friends. He was also well known for being a practical joker. Edward enjoyed country music and could always be seen wearing his cowboy hat and steel toed cowboy boots. Once a cowboy, always a cowboy. Family will receive friends at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd from 1-3 PM Sunday August 8, 2021. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 3 PM.
