Wood, Dorothy J., age 83, of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in Dayton, OH on November 11, 1928 to Rudolph and Cora M. (Slade) Mast, who preceded her in death. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Sanford E. Wood, a sister, Esther M. Lewis and 2 brothers, Virgil E. and Harold E. Mast. She is survived by 4 sons, Raymond, of Dayton, Sanford Gerald and wife, Glenda, of TN, Dallas and wife, Pam, of Fairborn, Terry and wife, Lori, of Dayton; a daughter, Sharon Wood, of Dayton; sister, Bonnie M. Meredith; brother, Rowland Mast; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Amber Jo Meyers, Ray and wife, Shannon Wood, Jr., Christie, Brittany Wood, Cassandra Wood, Bobby J. Wood, Michael Wood, Patricia Wood, Gerald and wife, Kristin Wood and their children, Tyler and Chase, Stacey Ragdale, Randy and wife Tabitha Ragdale and their children, Allie and Hallie, James and wife, Shawn Ragdale and their children, Casey and Austin, Aaron and wife, Laura Wood and their children, Kaylee and Tevin, Amanda and husband, Nathan Wardon and their children, Micah and Naomi, Kelsie and husband Paul Masters and their children, Tyler Wood, Anthony, Adam and Cheyanne Masters, Krissie Wood and her daughters, Aaliyah and Makaylah Lay, Steven Polaski, Kevin Wood, Krystal Wood, Kraig and wife, Victoria Wood and their daughter, Rebecca; and numerous other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2011, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2011.
