Dorothy Ann Motsch

MOTSCH, Dorothy Ann, age 92, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at St. Leonard. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Nicholas; her parents Clemens and Matilda Heitkamp; sisters: Grace Heitkamp-Haught, Sister Marie Heitkamp SFP; and brothers: Arthur, Hugo, Norbert, and Kenneth Heitkamp. She is survived by her children: Nicholas (Carol) and Ted (Rose) Motsch; grandchildren: Becky Eaton (Greg) and Gregory Motsch(Mark); great-grandchildren: David and Justin Schmitt and Chelsea and Tyler Eaton; and great-great-grandchildren: Justin “J.J.” and Gracie Schmitt. Dorothy worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a Ward Clerk for 25 years. She was very active in her church; a member of the bereavement committee and choir. The family would like to thank hospice nurses: Susan, Suzanne, and E’ryone, as well as the staff at St. Leonard, especially Anthony and Drew. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Church of the Ascension on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 11:30am. Family and friends may gather at the church from 10:30 until the time of mass. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will take place at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave at Fauver Ave, on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
