Cecil Lee McCready

Lee McCready (Cecil) age 76 passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2020 at Sycamore Hospital. Lee was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 24, 1944 to Cecil and Frances McCready (both deceased). He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Esther. He is also survived by his brothers Donald (Linda), Michael(Heidi) and sister Janice Reed (David), his son Thomas McCready, and daughter Karen Wolf (James). Stepchildren, Gerry Lorenzo (Neil), John Weghorst, Steve Weghorst, Rick Weghorst (deceased) Lee is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Lee served in the Marine Corp from March 1966-March 1969 as a radio repairman. He was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal during his service. Lee was a member and board member for 22 years of the Ohio Valley Karting Association Camden. He was also a member of the Lebanon, Ohio Optimist Club. Lee retired after 14 years of service, from Bill DeLord Auto Dealership in 2017. He was know there as the "Cadillac Man." Lee was a very caring man and was a friend of Bill W for 41 years. Lee will be missed by all those who knew him. The family will receive friends at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Avenue, Centerville, Ohio 45459 from 9:30 am until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
