Barry James Christian

Christian, Barry J. age 61 of Germantown, Ohio passed away Thursday October 29, 2015 at Kettering Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father Daniel W. Christian Sr. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Malia, his mother Kathryn Christian of Dayton, daughter, Natalie (Jim) Hulsey of Dayton; a brother Daniel W. Christian Jr.; 2 sisters, Diane Shimer of Dayton and Carolyn Christian of Dayton; granddaughter, Gabby Hulsey; his godson, John (Sarah) Shimer; brothers-in-law, Bryan (Candy) McAdow, Jim (Shari) Johnson; sister-in-law, Patty (Ray) Burkett, 8 nieces, 7 nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews;. Barry was a 1972 graduate of Centerville High School, graduate of Wright State University, worked in the garden center industry from the time he was 14 years old, starting at Groby’s Garden Center, The Gardening Group, and since 2001 was a manager of Berns Garden Center. He was an avid woodworker, pilot, and horticulturalist. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Wednesday November 4, 2015 at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave Centerville, Ohio 45459.
