Barbara Ann Snyder

Barbara Ann Snyder age 60, of Vandalia, went to be with our Lord Friday Feb. 7, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. She is survived by her son Steven (Katie) of Hillard, Ohio, Daughter Kristen (Paul) Bailey of Tipp City, Ohio, Sisters Karen (Bruce) Massar of Kingwood, Texas, Bonnie (Dan) Allis of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Brother Paul (Amy) Shelton Jr. of Wildwood, Missouri. Grandchildren: Zane, Zadie, Zayden, Zander, Samantha, Dustin and Robert. Step daughter Jennifer Snyder and longtime companion Thomas Krause. Barb was a 1971 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School. Barb was a surgical nurse and a member of the Surgical ARN Association. She loved family, gardening, shopping, dancing and listening to music. Barb was a selfless caregiver who loved spending time with her family and friends. Her infectious smile and warm embrace brought joy to all those around her. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held 1 p.m. Monday Feb. 10th at the West Charleston Church of the Brethern, 4817 State Route 202 Tipp City, Ohio. 45371. Visitation will be held from 11 am to the time of service on Monday at church. Pastor Bruce Massar officiating. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
