Barbara was a graduate of Fairmont High School and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree at Sinclair Community College. Before becoming a book keeper, Barbara was a beautician and then a florist. She was extremely creative and loved to paint, color, knit, and make collages out of old magazine photos and cards. She also had a knack for making art out of old items lying around the house.
Barbara had a sweet disposition but was known for being a bit ornery at times. She loved her family dearly and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Along with her family, Barbara loved the outdoors where she found simple beauty in things often overlooked by others. She enjoyed being around the water and found fishing with a simple cane pole to be very relaxing.
