Angie Sanders

SANDERS, Angie, age 84 of Kettering, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Angie was preceded in death by her loving husband Leroy, in 2007, as well as a multitude of family and friends. Angie is survived by her children; Lee (Mary) Sanders, Patsy Sanders-Francis, Diana (Paul) Palmer and Sue (Lee) Jenkins. She was a loving grandmother to Ali Sanders (Tom Sprague), Hannah Mercuri (Jordan Croop), Paula (Brian) Callahan, Ann (Mike) Turnbull, John (Pepper) Palmer, Alicia (Daniel) Adams, Heather (Dennis) Salon, Bailey (David) Cox, Sam (Kelsea) Francis and Coy, Elaina, Bella and Jesse Jenkins. She was a cherished great-grandmother to Jacob and Bailey Edwards; Liz, Joshua and Rebecca Palmer; Alex “Huck” Adams; Emily, Ashley, Sarah and Hannah Turnbull; Kayden, Jennilynn, Bryson and Greyson Salon and Amelia Jewel Francis. She was deeply loved and will be remembered by a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Angie’s greatest joys were her grandkids, great-grandkids and traveling to visit them. She never knew a stranger and was always ready for a trip to Pensacola Beach. She was an active mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who loved the Cincinnati Reds and the Dallas Cowboys. Her infectious smile, quick wit and laughter brought joy to all who knew her. From her serving as a volunteer at her children and grand-children’s schools to cooking for all of H Block and joining the Kettering Noon Optimists to help bring out the best in kids; her mission was always bringing joy to others.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12th from 10am-12noon at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, Oh, 45420. A funeral service will be held at Noon. The family would like to thank the staff at Oak Creek terrace for their loving care and compassion. In celebration of Angie’s life, please join us for a luncheon at Eudora Brewing Company, 3022 Wilmington Pike in Kettering from 1:30-3:30pm.
