Angela Mary Toomey

Angela M. Toomey (Pfarr), beloved mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Spring Hills Singing Woods in Dayton. “Angie” was born to Joseph and Regina Pfarr on November 7, 1924 in Loveland, OH. She worked 13 years as an administrative assistant for the government at Sharonville and at Wright-Patterson, and was a founding and life-long member of St. Helen Parish, where she sang in the choir for many years and volunteered in a multitude of other capacities. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Toomey, her parents and all of her six siblings. She is survived by her sons, Dennis M. (Sandy) and James P. (Liz) Toomey, and her daughters, Regina M. (Frank) Malczewski and Gail M. (Joe) Stielper. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, (Melissa Toomey, Joseph Malczewski, Matt Stielper (Rená), Michael Malczewski, Mary Ann Moreira (George), Brian Malczewski, Sean Toomey and Ryan Toomey) and two great-grandchildren (Mae Stielper and Micah Moreira). Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2018, from 6-8 pm at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Rd (Beavercreek). A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Helen Catholic Church,5100 Burkhardt Road (Riverside) on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10 am, with a prayer service preceding at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
