Richard A Schultz

Richard A Schultz passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. He was born December 5, 1935, to Albert Schultz and Florence Heppe Schultz in Spokane. He attend school at Edwall and EWU. On September 20, 1958, he married Gwen Janett of the Reardan-Davenport area. His working years were spent in the retail business. He and his wife lived in many different towns in the Northwest and Pacific Coast. When the retail company closed in 1983 he opened and managed an auto repair business. He was in the retail business for 26 years and his own business for nearly 26 years. He and his wife lived in Austin, Texas, for 50 years. In April of 2020, they moved back to the area where they both grew up and resided in Cheney.

He leaves behind his wife of 66 years. His son, Kevin (Tabitha) of Florida. His two grandsons, Keegan and Colton of Texas. Sister, Betty Lou Stolp (Dean). Nephews, Michael and Corey Stolp---their wives and children.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Strate Funeral Home, 505 10th Street, Davenport, WA. A private burial will take place at Mountain View Cemetery, Davenport. Donations can be made to your favorite charity.
