Paula Kay Jones (Canfield) Age 73 passed away on February 9, 2024, In Spokane, Washington. She was born on June 20, 1950 in Davenport, Washington. Paula was a dedicated volunteer for Campfire Inland Northwest, and had passion for making and selling her crafts at various craft shows throughout the inland Northwest. She served our community as a certified nurse aide for many years at Sacred Heart Hospital and St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Center and multiple nursing homes. She loved making and sharing her jams and jellies with her coworkers throughout the years. She was the happiest when she was able to share her knowledge and creativity with others, and the adventures of traveling with people that she loved and cared for.
Paula Jones is survived by her loving daughters Billie Jo Evans(Spouse Rondel)of Spokane, WA,Toni Turcotte(Spouse Brett)of Spokane, WA, as well as her grandchildren, Rondel Kearney of Bronx, NY, Jennifer Hines(Spouse Richard)of Spokane, WA, Rebecca Evans , Paige Evans, Ali Evans,(all from Spokane, WA) and her great grandchildren, Jade, Josias, and Reigna. She also leaves behind five brothers and sisters. Paula was proceeded in death by her parents, Verna and Floyd Canfield, and her brother Bruce Canfield.
Paula Jones will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives, she touched through her volunteer work and activities. Her dedication to helping others, and her vibrant spirit will be remembered fondly, by all who knew her.
Memorial service will be held in Davenport Washington at Strate Funeral Home at 1 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to Campfire Inland Northwest for camp Dart-Lo, where she was known as Miss PJ, and for camp Sweyolakan where she spent time volunteering with the outdoor adventure committee.
