Passed away November 11, 2017 in Wilbur, WA. He was born December 23, 1934 to Lyle and Cornelia (Nellie) Coleman, in Davenport, WA. Ray’s lifelong work was built in Davenport, WA being a wheat farmer. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, NRA, United Grain Growers, Davenport Union, Bluestem Grange and was a former Lincoln County Fire District 5 Commissioner. Ray was also a United States Army Veteran and Marksman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, Alaska fishing, elk hunting, snowmobiling, and camping. Ray is survived by his wife Mary, 3 children, Rita (Brian) Lorah, Dan Coleman, Bonnie (Lyn) Wolfe; one granddaughter, Nicole Wolfe; and one sister, Collene Fite along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Cornelia (Nellie) Coleman. A memorial service will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Davenport, WA on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Stacey Friedlein, officiating.
