Stockton, IA Memorial services for William “Mick” Stenger, 57, of Stockton, will be, 3:00 pm on Monday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Monday from 2:00 pm to service time at the Mortuary.Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service assisting family with arrangements.Mick passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Veterans Administration Center, Iowa City, IA. William Michael “Mick” Stenger was born on August 29, 1954 in Davenport, the son of William and Alice (Walker) Stenger. He graduated from West High School in 1972. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army in Turkey during the Vietnam Era. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Titan Wheel for 10 years. He then worked at Cascade Lumber in Eldridge. Mick enjoyed playing golf, watching the Green Bay Packers, New York Yankees, and spending time with his family, friends, and grandchildren.Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Feddersen and her fiancé Chad Wild of Davenport, Shyanne (Kevin) Foreman of Durant, his companion; Marjorie Jirus of Stockton, IA, grandchildren; Meika, Dakota, Isiah, Cadyn, and Jaxon, father and step-mother; William (Kathy) Stenger of Davenport, mother; Alice Mae Stenger, Davenport, brother; Donald (Karen) Stenger of Iowa City, IA, and sister Linda (Lee) Shaffer of Davenport, and many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his sister; Lisa Mallette, and his grandparents.Memorials may be made to the family.Online condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.cunnick-collins.com
