Ty was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He proclaimed Jesus’ love and saving grace from his hospital bed until the time he went to meet Jesus face to face.
Ty’s greatest desire was that everyone would see Christ’s love in him, and that they would be open to receiving Jesus Christ’s saving grace, so he would see them again someday in Heaven.
Ty loved children and they flocked to him, children know when they are loved fully and unconditionally, and it draws them near. He also loved being the hands and feet of Jesus. He served in multiple ministries at Adventure Christian Community, he served his family, and he was always willing to lend a hand whenever anyone asked for help. Ty treated his wife with love, respect and dignity. He loved her just as Christ loved the church.
He was an amazing man of God. We are sorrowfully rejoicing as Ty has received his “Well done good and faithful servant, welcome home” from God.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Alice Baugh; father, William (Pat) Baugh; brother, Bryan (Tonya) Baugh; daughter, Amanda Stokes; stepsons, Chad (Cassie) York and Joshua (Melissa) York; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia; and stepson, Mark Stokes.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the University of Iowa Hospital for the compassionate care Ty received.
