He was born in Buffalo, Iowa on January 9, 1951. He received his Eagle Scout Award. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He married Vicki Hitchcock on September 12, 1969 in Davenport. He had worked as UAW Journeyman at John Deere in the tool and dye department prior to retiring. He loved wood working.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 51 years, Vicki, son, Allen Myers and his fiance, Michelle Wyatt, daughter, Jennifer (Chad) Hadley, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, mother, Beverly Myers, brothers, Bill (Ann) Myers and Terry (Beth) Myers.
His father, Earl “Bud” Myers and a sister, Darlene Winkler preceded him in death.
