Paul D. Christner

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10 am at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family.

Paul was born January 18, 1979 in Davenport to Glenn and Vickie (Lyons) Christner. He graduated from North Scott High School. He worked construction in the area including for Siefer’s and Eller for several years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and bowling with his friends. He was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and enjoyed watching old wartime movies, especially WWII movies. Paul loved heavy metal music but most of all his 1987 Ford mustang.

Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Vickie Baker, Davenport, Glenn (Mary) Christner, Bartow, FL, siblings: Scott (Emily) Christner, Donahue, IA, Jeffrey Baker, Davenport, Amanda Baker, Clinton, John Baker, Jr., Davenport, Craig (Amanda) Barnier, Glenn (Sharon) Christner, Jr. and Kellie Christner (William Phillips), all of Florida, best friend, Chad Emmert, Davenport and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

His stepfather, John Baker, Sr., maternal grandparents, Melvin and Goldie Lyons, paternal grandparents, Homer and Glenda Christner and aunts, Sandy Hendrix and Susan Smithe preceded him in death.
