Maria Garcia Lopez

Maria Garcia Lopez, 81, of Davenport passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus. Per her wishes cremation will be done with a visitation for family & friends 4-6PM Wednesday at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. There will be a funeral service held 11:00Am Thursday (10/18) AT Zion Lutheran Church Davenport. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Maria was born August 28, 1931 in Mexico, the daughter of Rosalio and Petra (Morales) Garcia. Maria enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, needle point, and cooking. She was the strength of her family for many years and was a loving mother & grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Bonnie Miller, Manual Lopez, Robert Lopez, Andrea Kanakares, Daniel Lopez, & Jamison Lopez; grandchildren, Steve Miller, Kathy Miller, Chris Miller, Ryan Miller, Nicole Miller, Justin Harrison Miller, Wendy Kelley, Jonathan Martinson, Ashley Martinson, Michael Martinson, Dillon Lopez, Andrea Lopez, Alex Lopez, Megan Lopez, Sarah Rohm, Isaiah Rohm, Anthony Lopez, Hannah Lopez, Lexi Lopez, Melissa Lopez-Larson, Matthew Rizzo, Dianna Rizzo; 18 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Gary Miller.
