Kathy was born May 12, 1947 in Muscatine, IA to Floyd & Margaret (Tobias) Terrill. She was united in marriage to Earl B. Hofer on July 8, 1994 in St. Louis, MO under the arch. She was an avid Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed watching all sports with her husband. Kathy had been a stay at home mother as she raised her children and then worked for 27 years as a medical secretary at Ridge Crest Village retiring in 2004.
Kathy was a very thoughtful person often putting others ahead of herself. She was an incredible baker and made goodies for everyone. Her creations included cakes, scotch-a-roos, cookies, or whatever your favorite was. She knew the entire families favorites and all of her friends and seldom showed up to gatherings empty handed. She was blessed to have some great friends and neighbors whom she loved spending time and doing things with. Her family was her greatest treasure, especially the grandchildren. She took a very active role in helping to raise her grandchildren and take care of her family. She enjoyed visiting her #1 and the Gray party of six in Indiana. She was often referred to as the “GOAT” or grandma of all time!
