Gerald "Jerry" Reed

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at The Runge Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

Jerry was born on March 10, 1933 in Reedsburg, WI, the son of William and Esther “Bertie” (Baker) Reed. He was united in marriage to Diane Armstrong on May 20, 1978.

Jerry was a veteran of the National Guard. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and sport, especially golf. He was a proud lifelong fan and shareholder of the Greenbay Packers.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Diane Reed, children Allyson (Mitchell) Kline Pencil, Leslie (A.J.) Kline Parker, and Ken Kline; grandchildren Andrew (Jordan Timmsen), Alex (Ashley McLaughlin) Pencil, Kalvin Parker, Kellee Paker, Noah Kline, and Luke Kline; and sister in law Arlene Reed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, William C. Reed, Jr, Dean (Millie) Reed, Ken Reed, Belva Reed, and Lavon Journell.
