Frances Anne Jones

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, at the Historic Summit Church, Davenport. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Summit Cemetery.

Frances was born the daughter of Leonard and Alice (Crum) Hoffman in Ft. Madison, IA. She was united in marriage to Marvin E. Jones.

Frances enjoyed traveling, researching genealogy, antiques, Indian artifacts, gardening, and farming with her husband, Marvin. She loved being surrounded by her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were very special to her. Frances loved cooking for her family and made the best pizza and prize winning pies.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Dennis (Deanna) Jones, Bradley Jones, and Charles Jones; daughter, Kay (Joel) Jones; and brother, Daryl (Lois) Hoffman; along with 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 68 years, Marvin; daughters, Brenda and Audrey; brothers, Leonard and Bruce; sisters, Elizabeth, Muriel, and Verona; and great-granddaughter, Chelsey Cheek.
