Carol "Mrs. C" Collins-Cunningham

Park View, IA Funeral services for Carol "Mrs. C" Collins-Cunningham, 60, of Park View, IA, will be Monday, January 21, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary. Burial will follow at Pinehill Cemetery, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Monday from 11:00 am to service time. The family will have a time of gathering after services at the Knights of Columbus, Davenport.

Cunnick - Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Carol passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at her home in Park View, surrounded by her family. Carol Collins was born on October 11, 1958. She was the sixth child of Cager Collins and M. Maxine Smith. Carol grew up in Geneseo, IL and graduated in 1976 from the J.D. Darnell Senior High School, Geneseo, IL She married Thomas Cunningham Sr. on September 1, 1979 in Rock Falls, IL. They had three children and Nine (plus extras) grandchildren which were Carol's world. First and foremost was her love of God. Carol enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren very much. Carol loved sewing and bike riding with family and friends. She loved working on genealogy with her husband and taking trips together. Carol liked to call them "Adventures"

Survivors include her husband, 2 sons; Thomas Jr.(Tracy) of Long Grove, IA, Stephen (Jessie) of Parkview, IA, 1 daughter; Alisha (Gary Jr.) Werthmann and extra daughter, Christina (Ryan) Ridgway and grandchildren: Alicia, Tom, Tara, Matt, Alivia, Grace, Alizabeth, Emma, Nick and extra grandchildren: Derek and Hailey, 3 sisters; Bonnie (Henry) Arrington of Rock Island, IL, Nancy (Mark) Ladd of Independence, MO, M. Mildred Collins of Colorado and 2 brothers: C. Kenneth (Janice) Collins of Somonauk, IL, David (Betty) Collins of Sterling, IL; brother-in-law, Kenneth Madden of Davenport, IA; sister-in-law, Connie Ackert of Scottsdale, AZ; brother-in-law, Mark (Pat) Cunningham of Machesney Park, IL; brother-in-law, Michael Cunningham and plus several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, 2 sisters; Sharon Cima, Joline Madden, brother-in-law, N. Bruce Cunningham and a niece: Rebecca LaBolle.
