Betty was born in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Ethel (Feers) Kottman on July 10, 1937. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1955. She married James D. Corbett in 1956. He preceded her in death in 2016. She was a homemaker for years, then went to work at Brammer Manufacturing for 15 years. She was also employed at Von Maur and Cardiovascular Medicine for a short period of time. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren the most. She had a love for animals, and also enjoyed reading, walking outside, shopping, and anything with her family. Betty was a lifelong member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Julie Circello of Bettendorf, IA and Kelly (Hal) Brooker of Venice, FL; son, James (Chris Nolan) Corbett of Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Amanda (Steve) Shiltz of Davenport, IA, Tiffany (Nick) O’Shea of Scottsdale, AZ, Courtney (Andrew) Moses of LeClaire, IA, Connor and Anna Weinbeck of Venice, FL; great grandchildren, Andrew, Avery, Brody, and Reagan .
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Richard Kottmann, and special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, James and Eva Roth.
