Annie Cornelia McCoy

Her funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory Davenport, IA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Following cremation she will be laid to rest in Oakdale Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.

Annie was born May 27, 1944 to Roy and Clarkie (Needum) Scott in DeKalb, MS. She was employed at Best Western Riverview Inn for over 30 years prior to her retirement.

Annie enjoyed going fishing and watching wrestling. More than anything she loved watching her grandchildren, spending time with her family, and cooking for them.

Survivors include daughter, Annie (Dennis) Bailey, Davenport, IA; sons, Johnnie McCoy, Davenport, IA, Johnnye (Chanda) Michael McCoy, Ames, IA, and Charles Ray Triplett, MI; grandchildren: Candace Stokes, Brandon Anderson, Jasmine Shivers, LaKeishia McCoy, Javonte Bailey, Rayontrez McCoy, Bella & Linna McCoy, Oceana McCoy, Jon Naisha Johnson, TraShanda Waytes, and Tonika Triplett; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Scott, Roy (Ann) Scott, and Leonard Scott; sisters, Dorothy Kelley and Shirley (RB) Davis; and sister-in-laws, Elizabeth Kirk, Flora Grady, and Pearl Scott.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ray Gene Triplett; 7 brothers; and one sister.
