If you have cowboy boots, please wear them in her honor. Memorials may be made to Team Analiese Memorial Fund, which will be used to honor her memory by supporting other families with long term hospital stays.
Analiese was born on April 26, 1999 to Greg and Heather (McDonald) Chapman in Davenport, IA. She was the youngest of four siblings.
Analiese loved going four wheeling, being outdoors, being a mentor for new families fighting Cystic Fibrosis, country music, and especially, spending time with her nieces. Post-transplant she was able to adopt her dog, Copper. She loved taking him to the dog park, and snuggling with him on the couch. She grew up as part of the firefighter family, and was able to join Riverdale Fire Department in November 2017. She loved to participate in water fights with fellow fire fighters. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Chicago Cubs fan.
During her many hospital stays, she always had a smile on her face, and enjoyed keeping in touch with other patients. She always made an impact on the staff, and became close friends with many of them. Analiese never wanted anyone to worry and always said “I’m fine” no matter how sick she was. Many people will tell you she was the strongest person they had ever known. Even in her last days, she was always more concerned about everyone around her than herself.
Those missing her dearly are her parents Greg and Heather (McDonald) Chapman; sister, Cassie (Wade) Whiting; brothers, Andrew Chapman and Josh (Jill) Chapman; nieces: Rylie, Addison, Willow, Ella, Arabella and Freya; grandparents, Anita McDonald and Lucy Chapman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John McDonald and Larry Chapman.
