FORBES, William Anthony “Will” - passed away peacefully on October 31, 2021 after a lengthy illness. During the last two months his family maintained a daily vigil at his bedside. Born on September 6, 1962 he grew up in Dartmouth and spent the entirety of his life in the family home. He attended Harbour View School, John Martin Junior High, Dartmouth High and Dartmouth Regional Vocational School. Will worked at Farrell Hall calling bingo for many years and was a staff member at Northwood for 27 years. He enjoyed his trips to Toronto, Montreal and Florida where he got to experience some of his favourite teams in action as he was a passionate sports fan who was able to cite every player and team statistic. Will was predeceased by his father, Harold; brother, Paul; brother in-law, Frank Feeney, maternal and paternal grandparents, his uncle, Jed and aunt, Marie. Will is survived by his mother, Kathleen Forbes (Redmond), his sisters, Marjorie Brown (Lloyd), Donna Corkum (Russell), Kathleen Feeney; brothers, Harold “Hap” (Debbie), Peter (Cindy) and Robert (Arlene); Goddaughter, Alicia Procter, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, November 4th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, November 5th at 11:00 am at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish 10 Maple Street, Dartmouth, Archbishop Martin Currie officiating.
