Ricky DeYoung

DeYOUNG, Roy Richard “Ricky” - Age 59, of Dartmouth, passed peacefully on March 21, 2018. Survived by his father, Ralph (Sharon); sister, Cheryl (Jim Gillis); nephew, Noah. Predeceased by his mother, Ruth DeYoung (Cartwright). Ricky loved wrestling, music and was an athlete in the Special Olympics in Vancouver, where he won many medals. He was a member of DASC Industries for a number of years and volunteered at the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal. Special thanks to the staff of his group home and Regional Residential Services Society for their wonderful care over the years. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 26th from 1-2pm, with service following in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home.
