SEAWARD, Pearl – 84, of Middle Sackville, NS, passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2020 surrounded by her husband and children. Born in Templeman, NL, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Eva (Stockley) Templeman. In her very early days, Pearl worked as a school teacher in a one room school house in Deadman’s Bay, NL. For the majority of her career she worked as a salesperson for the Cooperators Insurance in St. John’s and was later offered a position as a Regional Manager in NS. Her children, husband, family and friends were her main focus and she is fondly remembered by all who met her as a sweet, kind and gentle person with an abundance of love in her heart. In her spare time she could be found gardening, knitting, reading, walking, traveling, volunteering as a Tartan Team member at the Halifax Stanfield airport, dancing with her husband Jon, and participating in and helping with many of the events held by her close knit church community. Pearl is survived by her loving husband; Jonathan, son; Lloyd (Rosaria) Winsor, daughters; Deanne Dyke and Elaine (Richard) Slaunwhite, grandchildren; Danielle (John) Winsor, Teri-Lynn (Tyler) Winsor, Courtney (Dan) Cote, A. J. (Sarah) Pearce, Monique (Peter) Hawkins, Courtney (Josh) Dube Sheena Boutilier, Jared (Crystal) Boutilier and Kim (Paul) Heatley, great grandchildren; Bea, Max, Leo, Hayden, Donovan, Imogen, Irelynn, Mason, Carter, Silas, Maverick, Noah, Abby and Isaac, nephews; Todd Templeman and Rod Stockley, niece; Diane Goodyear one niece and special sister in-law; Bernice Templeman. She was predeceased by brothers; Sam Templeman, Wilson Stockley and nephew; Darrin Templeman. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, June 4, 2020 in Saint Francis by the Lakes Anglican Church, 192 First Lake Dr, Lower Sackville, Father Mark Kingsbury officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Newfoundland. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation www.cpff.ca or a charity of choice.
