So sorry to hear of Michelle’s passing.  It’s sad that someone as loving, caring, and bright as Michelle has gone so soon.  I am sad too that I have lost a caring and valuable friend, whom I met so late in life.  Michelle and me met on our mutual journey in fighting off the big C.  She inspired me by her positivity and gratitude for all that came her way.  She offered me friendship and  courage and I hope I was able to give a little of that back to her.  May she rest in comfort and peace.  My love and condolences to her family and loved ones.

I have many wonderful memories of our time together at Parks Canada. Michelle was truly exceptional in her work on ceremonies and events - skilled, meticulous and creative. One of the best experiences for both of us was being seconded to work on the G7 Summit. I was very saddened to learn of her passing and I want to send my deepest sympathies to her family.

If you looked up courageous in the dictonary Michelle’s name would pop up. I was good friends with her kids when I was younger and she was like a second mom. She was always there for us when we needed to talk or would have a place to crash if we needed it. She picked me and my brother up from baseball or school many times. May you Rest easy Michelle. RSG

Curtis, Lillie and Jacque I am sending my sincerest condolences on the loss of Michelle. I spoke with her just before Christmas. SHe was a beautiful soul. We worked together for many years. May she rest in eternal peace!

Oh Mikey I’m gonna miss that smile and sarcasm. Take care sweet lady , so classy and sassy. When we were at PA together you and I shared many classes and lots of teasing, always a beautiful smile and such class. ❤️💔❤️

Michelle and I attended Prince Andrew High School at the same time and enjoyed ribbing each other in Geography class, I think. Save a dance for me when I get there with you Michelle. 

Condolences to the entire Smith family and friends.

Michelle was always the ray of sunshine when you walked into work at NSCC.  She always had a kind greeting and a smile on her face that just made you feel at home. I remember my first day at NSCC where she made sure I had everything I needed and felt like one of the team right from the very start. Michelle was one of a kind, and her passion for her work and her zest for life is something that I will always remember.  Rest in peace, gone but never forgotten.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Michelle's family, Curtis, Lillie and Jacques.  I had the pleasure of being a coworker, friend and neighbor of Michelle's.  She was a class lady, kind, caring and compassionate.  I shall miss our many chats on gardening, fashion, jewelry, spirituality and the neighborhood cats.  I was always amazed by the many wonderful outfits that Michelle wore and will miss seeing her walk by the office impeccably dressed from head to toe, ever the fashionista that she was.  Beautiful Michelle, shine bright my friend, God Bless.

Miss Smith, as we called her at Miss Murphy's, was a lovely teacher.  I looked forward to her classes.  I know she will be missed by her friends and family, but I too have thought of her over the years and wondered where she was and what she was doing.

I had the opportunity to work with Michelle many years ago with Parks Canada. Michelle was a very positive, fun person, and she lit up the room when she walked in. A wonder, wonderful person !

I Always will cheerish our many chats & laughs, RIP my friend.   Sincere condolences to the family, Im sure Michelle will be missed but there is always fond memories to keep close to your heart.

I met Michelle 11 years ago at NSCC and sinced developed a friendship with her. Michelle was a great resource on work and gardening for me! She helped me with my plants, even coming to my house to help me. She was right into the dirt, giving me pointers. I shall look for my Lamb's Ear each year now. 
Michelle will be greatly missed, a bright light in this sometimes dark world.  Michelle was classy, funny, bright and beautiful,  but of course, I don't have to tell you all that. :)

My Dear Michelle, I will miss our chats and laughter in the lunchroom. I will miss "checking you out" every day wondering what fabulous outfit, jewelry, and SHOES you would be wearing. I will miss hearing you call me "Sweetie or Sweetheart" with your beautiful smile. You were so good at making me feel special and loved, especially when I felt down. Your presence will be greatly missed ,but our memories will be cherished. RIP Beautiful and Strong  Woman!
