I as well was a client of Doug's....sadly I only recently became aware of Doug's passing.  Doug was just so pleasant, honest and thorough in his work...always a smile...and reading the entries from other clients I see I am not alone in this view of him.  Time stopped when I heard...hard to imagine that someone who was so vibrant was gone....Condolences to Doug's wife, daughter and extended family....I will miss him in the role he played in my life through insurance...I can only imagine the sense of loss you his family feel.  May you take comfort in your memories and take the best care of one another.

I was a client of Doug's and was shocked and saddened to hear of his death.  He was such a calm, straightforward likable person; he will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.  I am so sorry for the loss that his family has suffered.

As one of Doug's clients I had spoken to him and met with him in person on many occasions and was shocked and very sad to hear of his passing today. I was very sad to hear of Doug's passing.  I know I am only one of many of his clients, but I can say sincerely that he was one of the most pleasant and memorable people I've had the pleasure to deal with over the years.  Looking at the pictures that have been posted of him here, I am very touched by what appears to have been a wonderful and rich life, and by the love he clearly had for you, his family.  I offer my sincere condolences and hope you can find peace throughout this holiday season.

Dear Gail and Cheryl:  I was so shocked to hear about your husband / father, and I am so very sorry that you both have had to endure such pain.  Cheryl, I do feel your pain and your father, he was a good hard working man.  I remember when your mom and dad were first dating and dad was manager of the Bi Way Store where your mom had also worked. I know what it is like to loose a loving father, but .... Remember the good memories and that will keep you strong and he would want that for you.  Gail:  I know that your love for him will be with you forever.  I do remember your wedding and how much the two of you had expressed your love for each other.  I also remember that kiss (and it was a good one !!) Hi Gail and Cheryl.  I am sorry about Doug.  I remember one Saturday morning when Gail was on the desk at the YMCA and I was in the Child Minding Room. She got Doug to come and get us some tea at Tim`s but he forgot to bring mine back.  He was so embarrassed but I said it was o k but he turned around and went right back down to get it!
