ALEXANDER (White), Audrey Mabel, Age 99 of Dartmouth and God's good and faithful servant was received into God's loving embrace April 15, 2016, in the presence of her loving family at home. Born in Amherst N.S. she was the daughter of Gilbert and Mabel (Weldon) White. Audrey is survived by her daughter Judy Johnston (Tom) and son David (Dawn), granddaughter Amy Bowler (Alex), grandson Scott and various nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert and son Larry, brothers Howard, Carl, Osborne and Cyril and sisters Dorothy, Elsie and Grace. She was a strong, gentle woman with a deep abiding faith and truly lived it and was such a positive influence on all she met. She loved her family and friends and always had a photo album nearby to share with her visitors. She was a true homebody with a wish to stay in her own home as long as possible. With the support of special people such as Rina, Margaret and Jean plus EHS, VON (Alicia) and Palliative Care (Patti) her wish was granted. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19 from 2-4 pm at A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St. Dartmouth. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20 at St Luke's Anglican Church Veteran's Ave at 1:30 pm with Rev. Matthew Sponagle presiding. Internment will take place in Amherst.
