Frederick B. Jones, age 77, of Reading MA, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 in Beverly Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Frederick and Juanita (Moore) Jones. He was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School. He worked in the fitness and health industry, and he was owner and operator of MG Fitness for 20 years. He also worked along side with his father at Jones Wheel Alignment, loved his family, cars and enjoyed life in general.
Survivors include three sons; Michael Jones and his wife Susan of Dartmouth, Cory Jones of Wakefield, Jonas Jones and his mother Anna Jones of Lynnfield; a daughter; Gina Jones of New Bedford; a brother, Daniel Jones of New Bedford; Six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
His visitation will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:00AM, followed by his funeral service at 10:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. Burial is Private. For online tributes please visit www.waring-sullivan.com
