Timothy D. Zachman

Timothy D. Zachman, 59, a 28 year resident of Bethel CT passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital on March 2, 2014 with his beloved wife, Patricia A. (Flanagan) Zachman, by his side and surrounded by the love of family and friends after a brief but courageous battle with gastric cancer.

Tim was born on June 5, 1954 in Owatonna, MN to Mildred (McFadden) and Robert W. Zachman, and lived there until 1967 when his family moved to North Attleboro, MA where he met and later married his childhood sweetheart, Patricia. Tim attended St John’s University in Collegville, MN and the University of New Hampshire, Durham, where he obtained his B.S. in Business Administration. At the time of his death Tim was employed as a Property Manager for Imagineers LLC in Seymour CT.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph D. and Robert P. Zachman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother John Zachman and wife, Laurie Lynch, of Eden Prairie, MN, sisters Julie Zachman of Madison, WI, Teresa (Zachman) Grimes and husband, Jack, of Fairfax, VA, and Mary Zachman and Jane (Zachman) Fjerstad both of Minneapolis, MN, sisters-in-law Deborah (Iten) Zachman and Christine (Davis) Zachman also from MN as well as brothers-in-laws: Jerry Flanagan and wife, Judy, of Colchester VT and William Flanagan and wife, Cathy, of Beloit, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews.

Tim will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially Winnie, Swirly, Callie, Brady, Tobey and Missy. His intelligence, quick wit and wonderful sense of humor drew people to him and made the world better for having him in it.
