Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 3, 1946. Robert was predeceased by his parents and older brother William.
Robert is survived by his wife, Jan (Kaufmann) Chandler; his brother, Bruce; and his sister, Sharon Russell; daughter, Patricia Chandler; granddaughter, Cassandra Chandler Olsen and her husband, Peter. His great grandchildren: Alejandro Jesus, Inovyanna Jovie and Orion Robert; and many nieces and nephews also survive.
He attended Boys High School in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Waterbury Tech. Prior to his retirement he worked for Perkin-Elmer in Danbury, moved to California for 30 years before relocating to New Fairfield in 2017.
There will be a Graveside Service on Saturday, May 7th at 1pm at Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield, CT.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
