Maria Delvino

Maria was born in Bari, Italy to Donato and Isabella Sorgente on April 5, 1931, where she went to school and married Dominick Delvino in 1952. The couple immigrated to New York where they raised their daughters. Maria worked as a nurse’s aide for many years in the Bronx, NY.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Dominick. She is survived by her daughters Rosanne Augustine (Henry) and Elizabeth Rozynski (Ronald), her grandchildren Amanda Freitas (Adam), Nicole Frechette (Shane), Andrew Rozynski (Megan), Brian Rozynski (Caitlyn) and great-grandchildren, Nathan and Gabriella Freitas, Leo and Holly Frechette, August and Andrew Rozynski.

Visitation for Maria will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held St. Peter Church, 104 Main St. Danbury, on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 10:30 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Raymond Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Ave., Bronx, NY.
