Laurette was born in Danbury, CT on November 13, 1933 to the late Michael and Florence (Ward) Beardsley. She attended Saint Joseph School and Danbury High School, and was employed with Ethan Allen, retiring in 1999. Laurette took great pride in her home and enjoyed spending quality time with family.
In addition to her husband and parents, Laurette was predeceased by her sisters, Florence Anderson (William), Dorothy Davis (Wheeler), and Marie Coppolo (Casper), as well as her brother Michael Beardsley (Christine). She is survived by several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Laurette’s family would like to offer their sincere thanks to both the staff of Danbury Hospital and Regional Hospice for the compassionate care provided to Laurette throughout her illness.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00am on Monday, September 16, 2024 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
Burial will follow at Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00am, until the time of the service.
