Ken was born in the Bronx, NY to David and Angela on December 13, 1945. He married the love of his life, Mary Ellen on August 14, 1971 in Sherman, CT. He graduated from Danbury High School, Danbury CT and Western CT State University with a Masters Degree in Education. He was a beloved Mathematics teacher at Danbury High School for 35 years. Ken loved and enjoyed so much in life: his family, his friends, his students, the outdoors & fishing, animals, food (seafood was his favorite), and science fiction (especially Star Trek), just to name a few.
Ken is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen.
Ken is survived by his son Christopher Sanzeni and daughter Rachel Sanzeni.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 1pm to 3pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the Sherman Church, 6 Church Rd, Sherman, CT, at 11am. Burial will follow at Coburn Cemetery, 68 Leach Hollow Road, Sherman, CT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wildlife Conservation Society (wcs.org) and K9s For Warriors (k9sforwarriors.org).
