Joy Jackson

She was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, and graduated from Brockton High School. Later she went on to college and earned a degree in Radiology. She worked as an X-Ray Technician at Park City Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Joy loved animals, and the great State of Rhode Island, where she lived briefly.

She is pre-deceased by her mother, Doris Isabel Gardner; father, Francis Chase Gardner; former husband, Francis Kirk; sister-in-law, Ann Kirk; brothers-in-law James Kirk and Allan Giovannini; and nephew, Ted Giovannini.

She is survived by her daughter: Suzanne Zada; and grandson, Saab William Zada. Her son: Edward Francis Kirk, daughter-in-law, Carrie Lopato Kirk; and granddaughters: Alex, and Christine Kirk; grandson: Jake Kirk. Great-grandson: Oliver Hart; and Joy's sister, Noni Giovannini of Cocoa Beach, Florida; and her niece Debra (DJ) Giovannini of Melbourne Beach, Florida also survive.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will take place at a future date in the State of Rhode Island.
