Filomena D. Felizardo

Filomena was born in Penalva do Castelo, Portugal, daughter of the late Antonio Da Silva and Carolina Eduarda. She attended school in Portugal and immigrated to the United States in 1969, where she settled in Danbury. She worked at Berol for 22 years then at Davis & Geck until her retirement. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

In addition to her husband of 62 years of marriage, she is survived by her son: Jose Felizardo and his wife, Maria; and her grandchildren: Daniel and Christina Felizardo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Ave. Ext., Danbury, CT.

Family and friends will be received from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be sent to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 149 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury, CT.
