Micki was a graduate of New Rochelle College and attended Pratt Institute of Art. She served in the Red Cross in England during World War II and then mentored young women as a European tour guide shortly thereafter. She opened a dress shop called The Debbie Den in Westport, Connecticut. It was around that time she married Arthur Erhardt and became mother to Mark Samuel Erhardt and Stuart Carroll Erhardt. Micki was predeceased by her brother George McManus and her cherished grandson Luke Samuel who died as an infant.
Micki’s legacy of charity, hospitality, faithfulness, and devotion to family, friends, and God has impacted and shaped those she’s left behind. She will forever be a part of the lives of her son Mark. Samuel Erhardt of Sherman, Connecticut, and his son Mark Francis Erhardt and his wife April Marie Erhardt (nee Brooks) and their two children Logan Luke and Isabel Faith Erhardt. Micki’ s legacy of kindness dwells in the hearts of her son Stuart Carroll Erhardt and his wife Brenda Margaret Erhardt (nee Gaffney) of West Newbury, Massachusetts. Micki’ s grandchildren from Stuart include Ryan Christopher Erhardt and Alicia Marie Phillips, and their two children Ariana Day and Evan Patrick of Hampstead, New Hampshire, Sean Michael Erhardt, Kyle Patrick Erhardt, and Katelyn Marie Erhardt of Sandown, New Hampshire, and step—grandchildren John Pearson Dresser, Emily Mary Dresser, and Zachary Ray Dresser of West Newbury, Massachusetts.
Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main St., on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, in Sherman CT.
