Dorothy L. Leach Boyer

Dorothy was born in Danbury, daughter of the late LeRoy and Mary (Doolan) Leach, Sr. She attended Danbury schools and had worked for more than fifty years at the former Dan Ridge Chevrolet and Village Pontiac auto dealerships. She was a longtime member of St. Edward the Confessor Church and had volunteered her time for many years at the Danbury Hospital Gift Shop.

She is survived by three step-children: Theodore F. Boyer, Jean P. Andros and Wilmer N. Boyer, Jr., her brother Floyd Leach and wife Dolores, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special cousins. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother George Leach and sister-in-law Reba and a niece and nephew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield, on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
