Wynnelle Youngblood Gatling, age 90, passed away on April in Sachse, TX. She was born to Marty and Sybil Helm on February 27, 1932 in Crandall, Texas. She graduated from Crandall High School and attended East Texas Teacher's College. She was employed for 40 years by Alexander & Alexander Insurance Company in Dallas, Texas. She was an active member of Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and a former member of Bethany Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by husband Pat Youngblood of 38 years, her father and mother and one brother, James E Helm. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Beth Ewing and husband Stan of Plano, Texas, Susan Landua of Austin, Texas and Jan Pinkston and husband Aaron of Forney, Texas, six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She later remarried Harrol Gatling in June of 1995 where they enjoyed a wonderful life together in Hot Springs Village until moving to Sachse, Texas in November 2021. Both losing their spouses to cancer, found love and hope through a friendship which built into a love relationship that brought them to marriage on June 9, 1995. They shared a wonderful life together of 26 years until his death on March 1, 2022. Both shared a tremendous love for the Lord and their families.
The family would like to thank both Visiting Nurses Association Hospice and Oxford Glen Memory Care for their exceptional care and compassion her final weeks.
