Wendy Talbott Pipkins, age 72, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Bethesda, Maryland on January 16, 1947 to the late Richard Nelson Talbott and Jean Elizabeth Macy Talbott. On October 1, 1967 she married Samuel Warren Pipkins and together they had two children. Wendy was a graduate of the University of Florida and spent her career as a Special Needs Teacher in Dallas, Texas.
She is finally free from all the pain and suffering and is dancing, singing and probably even trying to boss Jesus around right now. Wendy was a faithful servant of the Lord, a loving wife, a fun Memaw and an amazing friend. There is no doubt she is surrounded by children and being called “Mrs. Wendy”. Her radiant smile and spunk will so very much be missed. If you knew Wendy and she told you she loved you, she meant it. If she said she would pray for you, you can bet she did and never stopped. She was truly a woman of God in every sense of the word and she lived her life following God’s Word no matter what and taught her family to do the same. She was so proud of her family and never missed a chance to show them off, especially her granddaughters. She was definitely their #1 Fan.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Sam Pipkins of Dallas, TX, daughter, Melanie Gibson of Grand Prairie, TX, son, Joel Pipkins, also of Grand Prairie, TX and daughter in law, Regina Pipkins of Mansfield, TX; Granddaughters, Payton Lynn Earley, Bailey Lynn Pipkins and Brooklyn Elise Pipkins and countless longtime friends who she loved like family.
